Matthew 27:45-56 – The Cross (Part 2) takes a hard look at four of the seven last words Jesus spoke from the cross. The words a man utters before he dies come directly from the heart. They reveal what is most important to him. Jesus’ final words on the cross were few, but what He did say was incredibly profound. They reveal the magnitude of Jesus’ love and help us understand His heart, His mind, and His mission.

Matthew 27:45-56 – The Cross (Part 2): Jesus’ last words reveal His desire is to Forgive Sin.

The Book of Hebrews states: “Jesus, the Son of God is our great High Priest who has gone to heaven itself to help us. Therefore, let us never stop trusting Him. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses since He had the same temptations we do, though He never once gave way to them and sinned. So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive His mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 (TLB)
