The Mission Church
Encinitas Community Serve Day
3 churches, 1600 volunteers, at 90 different work site locations all came together in Jesus name to make North County better place to live!
Together we helped single moms fix up their houses, painted schools, served the Boy Scouts, loved on children with autism, restored and refurbished animal shelters, blessed the elderly, and the list goes on and on!

Home Makeover for Single Mom

We met a wonderful young woman, a single mom with six children under the age of eleven, who lives near The Mission Church. She works very hard to support her family and she does a fantastic job. Nevertheless, her house was in desperate need of restoration yet she did not have the time nor resources to do so.
The church adopted this family and decided to do a makeover on her home. We remodeled the kitchen and renovated the whole house with new goodies. We are praying that this mom learns how much Jesus loves her.
